Senior Software Engineer

SpotDraft is seeking a talented Senior Backend Engineer to join our dynamic team in Bangalore. We are looking for an individual passionate about crafting clean, scalable code and solving complex, real-world challenges with elegant technological solutions. In this role, you will be instrumental in building robust APIs, owning critical backend services, and significantly contributing to the architectural direction of our AI-driven contract management platform.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain efficient APIs that meet user requirements.
• Create reusable libraries by abstracting complex functionalities.
• Proactively identify and resolve issues within modules and libraries.
• Optimize application performance for maximum speed and scalability across the platform.
• Take full ownership of specific modules or services within the SpotDraft stack, managing them from development through deployment and ongoing maintenance.
• Collaborate closely with tech leads and the CTO to ensure the timely delivery of product features and engineering tasks.
• Actively participate in architectural design discussions and help define the long-term technical vision for our systems.

Requirements:

• Possess 4-7 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Demonstrate strong proficiency in Python, with experience in Django or Flask being a significant advantage.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
• Exhibit a solid understanding of Computer Science fundamentals, including Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA) and System Design principles.
• Proficient in using the Linux command line.
