Senior Software Engineer

About the Role

The Senior Software Engineer - Backend is a key engineering role responsible for designing, developing, testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining scalable and reliable backend applications and services. The role works closely with software development teams and product managers to design and deliver software solutions using modern .NET, C#, REST APIs, microservice architecture, and AWS.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on programming experience with modern .NET and C#.
• Experience developing and maintaining backend web applications and services.
• Strong experience developing REST APIs and applying software design patterns.
• Experience with microservice architecture and cloud-based application development.
• Experience with enterprise integration patterns and messaging/queue-based architectures (e.g., pub-sub, message brokers).
• Proficiency with Git and a modern distributed version control workflow (branching, pull/merge requests, CI integration).
• Experience with application testing and debugging.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of application security and data protection practices.
• Ability to understand and work effectively within an existing product architecture and codebase.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Required Experience & Qualification

• 5–7 years of overall software development experience.
• Minimum 3–4 years of hands-on experience developing and maintaining web applications on AWS.
• Hands-on experience developing backend applications and services using the technologies specified above.
• Proven experience working across the full software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, troubleshooting, and production support.
• Demonstrated ability to take ownership of technical deliverables and resolve complex software issues.
