About the Role

We are actively seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Engineer to join our rapidly expanding team. In this pivotal role, you will significantly contribute to system design and the development of robust backend services. This is a high-impact opportunity for individuals who excel in fast-paced, collaborative settings and are passionate about building secure, scalable systems that deliver exceptional user experiences.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable and maintainable microservices.
• Write, test, and maintain high-quality production code daily.
• Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and data flow patterns.
• Ensure system reliability through effective monitoring and incident response.
• Drive performance optimization and scalability for distributed systems and APIs.
• Research and implement innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges.
• Contribute to and uphold a strong engineering culture, comprehensive technical documentation, and collaborative problem-solving.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of dedicated backend software development experience.
• Proven experience building and maintaining scalable backend services for distributed applications.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Experience in fast-paced, growth-oriented environments is considered a valuable asset.

Required Skills

• Strong backend development expertise with proficiency in Go and Node.js.
• Hands-on experience with message queuing systems such as RabbitMQ or Kafka.
• Solid understanding of PostgreSQL and MongoDB, including query optimization and schema design.
• Experience with AWS services, containerization (Docker), and Kubernetes deployment.
• A strong problem-solving mindset capable of addressing complex technical challenges.
• Effective communicator skilled in collaborative, cross-functional team environments.
• Enthusiastic about contributing to code reviews, documentation, and best engineering practices.
• Understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful API development.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in fast-paced, growth-oriented environments is a plus.
