Senior Software Engineer 2

Role Overview

We are seeking a passionate Senior Software Engineer to join our Product Engineering practice. You will play a critical leadership role within an Agile Scrum team, focusing on the enhancement and maintenance of 'Crowe's Insight'—a key product supporting Audit services.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, implement, and support enterprise web applications using the Microsoft technology stack (.NET Core, MVC, Web API, React/TypeScript, SQL Server).
• Leverage Azure cloud services including App Services, Functions, Service Bus, Redis, Key Vault, Data Factory, and more.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine requirements and consult on architectural approaches for scalable solutions.
• Cultivate a 'Shift Left' mindset by integrating quality assurance early into the development lifecycle.
• Mentor team members in enforcing best software development practices and conducting code reviews.
• Troubleshoot production issues efficiently while proactively addressing sprint impediments.
• Utilize AI coding assistants to accelerate delivery velocity and innovate new business features.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of full-stack engineering experience with the Microsoft .NET ecosystem (ASP.NET, Web API, Entity Framework).
• Strong expertise in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), inversion of control patterns, and unit testing strategies for loosely coupled architectures.
• Proficiency with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines and Git for version control management.
• Demonstrated experience building AI-backed features or agents is a strong plus.
