Role Overview

A career in Software Development provides an opportunity to participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including design, implementation, testing and deployment of quality software. You will work in an agile environment producing designs and code that our customers use every day.

• Developing quality software for world's largest technology firms, fixed income asset managers, and custodian banks
• Owning critical processes that are highly available and scalable
• Mentoring entry-level developers while contributing to architectural decisions
• Independently moving major features through design, development, deployment, and maintenance lifecycles
• Providing expertise on quality, scaling, performance requirements for new features
• Building scalable backend services (Microservices, messaging systems)
• Working with distributed software systems including big data technologies

Requirements & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 7+ years professional experience in industry-leading programming languages (Java/Python)
• Strong problem-solving skills with object-oriented, functional language expertise
• Background in SDLC & Agile practices including testing and monitoring production systems
• Experience with Machine Learning and Cloud Platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Familiarity with messaging systems such as Kafka, Pub/Sub, SQS/SNS
• Ability to build scalable backend services using Microservices architecture
• Proficiency in NoSQL databases like DynamoDB, HBase, Cassandra and relational databases
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills required for client interaction
