About The Role

As a Senior Software Development Engineer on our Data Quality Platform team, you will set technical direction and drive the design, delivery, and operation of core data quality services. You will shape architecture for automated profiling, configurable rules, anomaly detection, incident workflows, and alerting systems.

Your Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain complex, highly available Data Quality Platform services using robust system design (low-level) and API design (REST/gRPC).
• Lead end-to-end feature delivery from technical design through production deployment and optimization for profiling, quality rules, data contracts, and more.
• Improve operational excellence by driving code standards, reducing incidents, strengthening observability, and optimizing performance and cost.
• Mentor engineers on software engineering best practices, testing, and distributed-systems architecture.
• Collaborate with product, architecture, and data teams to translate business problems into scalable technical solutions.
• Safely integrate AI/ML-enabled capabilities for rule authoring, anomaly detection, and issue explanation.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of professional backend development in object-oriented languages (Java, Kotlin).
• Proven ownership of end-to-end service delivery within multi-service environments.
• Strong proficiency in modern programming languages and core software engineering practices.
