About the Role
Join a team of engineers building scalable APIs and distributed systems that power healthcare platforms using transformer-based Large Language Models fine-tuned on millions of clinical notes. You will own backend services, design high-performance infrastructure with sub-second latency and >99% accuracy for ICD-10-CM, CPT®, and HCPCS parsing.
What You'll Own
- Backend Systems & APIs: Design scalable services ensuring seamless internal/external integrations.
- Distributed Systems: Optimize for high availability using asynchronous/event-driven architectures with queues and streams.
- Data Performance: Manage SQL and NoSQL databases, optimizing application and infrastructure layers for throughput.
- Cloud & Infrastructure: Deploy on AWS/GCP/Azure using Docker/Kubernetes, implementing robust monitoring and alerting.
Requirements
We seek a backend engineer with 4+ years of experience in Python, NodeJS, or Go. Must-haves include strong system design fundamentals, SQL/NoSQL expertise, cloud familiarity (AWS/GCP/Azure), and the ability to take ownership independently.
