Role Overview:
The Senior Software Developer will be responsible for developing high-quality applications and services at Route Mobile. You will improve functionality, ensure scalability and reliability of our solutions, and work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver excellent software aligned with business objectives.

Key Skills & Knowledge:
- Build High-Quality Software complying with strict coding standards.
- Demonstrate strong analytical thinking; be self-motivated and a team player.
- Write reusable, efficient code using Python 3 (preferred).
- Mastery of frameworks: Flask, Marshmallow, Celery.
- Create bulletproof APIs for diverse use cases.
- Understand Microservices Architecture basics.
- Design and implement Low Latency, High Availability applications.
- Expertise in Multi-Threading and Parallel Processing in Python.
- Familiarity with ORM; SQLAlchemy.
- Proficient version control using Git.
- Understanding of Design Principles for scalable apps.
- Multidatabase management experience (SQL & NoSQL).
- Languages: Redis, MySQL/PostgreSQL, NOSQL.
- Data Processing: Pandas.
- Cloud Infrastructure: AWS.
- Databases: Postgres, MongoDB, Dynamo DB, Redshift.
- Messaging: Kafka.
- Frontend Adjacent Skills: JAVASCRIPT, VUE JS 3.
- Solid Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) understanding.
- Knowledge of event-driven, serverless, and microservices architectural patterns.
General Responsibilities:
- Maintain compliance with Internal Work Regulations, Organizational Policies, and information security standards.
- Adhere to Integrated Management System rules regarding occupational health and safety.
- Support investigation, monitoring, and management of information security incidents.
- Comply with data protection policies for the organization, clients, suppliers, and entities.
- Promptly report incidents involving loss or compromise of reliability, availability, and integrity of information.
- Report deviations, anomalies, vulnerabilities, and threats to mitigate potential risks immediately.
- Participate in risk identification and assessment with controls.
- Fulfill other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Daily Job Activities:
- Produce development deliverables within established timelines per specifications from the development leader.
- Adhere to technical procedures, naming conventions, secure coding best practices, and code versioning guidelines.
- Conduct rigorous unit testing of all developed code.
- Create comprehensive documentation for projects and APIs.
- Support active code reviews within the development team.
- Design solutions leveraging cloud components and architectures (AWS).
- Assist teammates in resolving technical and business-related queries.
- Ensure quality of deliverables to provide stable, production-ready products.
- Suggest process improvements to enhance overall product quality.
- Facilitate knowledge transfer within the development team.
- Pursue training opportunities to enhance the team's skill set.
- Mentor and guide junior developers.
- Participate in code review, testing, and estimation of department projects.
