As an expert WordPress developer, you will be instrumental in building and managing custom themes and plugins, alongside handling back-end development, DevOps, and infrastructure management.

Responsibilities:

• Lead development and actively code in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
• Ensure code adheres to NielsenIQ standards for security, brand, and legal compliance.
• Manage and mentor a team of developers, establishing best coding practices and guiding team members.
• Oversee WordPress back-end development, DevOps processes, and infrastructure management.
• Proactively solve challenges with innovation and a passion for WordPress development.
• Contribute to software quality assurance through testing, code reviews, and pair programming.
• Work with cloud-based applications, web services, and system integrations.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a front-end developer.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
• Expertise as a WordPress developer with proven experience in creating and managing custom themes and plugins.
• Experience with both relational (SQL) and non-relational (NoSQL) databases.
• Familiarity with React and serverless functions.
• Experience in software quality assurance, including testing, code review, and pair programming.
• Experience with cloud-based applications, web services, and system integrations.
• Understanding of scrum/agile development principles and methodologies.
