Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Software Architect / Technical Lead to take technical ownership of the Revun platform. This is not an advisory role; you will be expected to deeply understand our existing application, challenge weak technical decisions, lead developers, review engineering quality, and guide us toward a stable commercial launch.

Your Responsibilities

• Technical Ownership: Audit the entire codebase (frontend, backend, databases, APIs, AI workflows, infrastructure). Determine what to retain, refactor, replace, or rebuild based on technical risk and business impact.
  
• Team Leadership: Provide direction to remote engineering teams across frontend, backend, DevOps, QA, and integration. Evaluate developer capabilities and hold the team accountable for code quality and architectural standards.
  
• Architecture & Strategy: Strengthen platform architecture including authentication (RBAC), audit logging, workflow automation, and system integrations.
  
• Critical Systems Review: Ensure reliability in financial systems (payments, ledgers, reconciliations) and AI/LLM functionality (monitoring for hallucinations, privacy risks).
  
• Engineering Standards: Enforce standards covering CI/CD pipelines, testing protocols, incident response, and production release controls.
  
• Stakeholder Communication: Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions. Provide leadership with clear assessments of risks, progress, resource needs, and launch readiness.
  

  Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
    
  • 12+ years of professional software engineering experience (hands-on development required).
    
  • 4+ years specifically in Software Architecture or Senior Technical Leadership (e.g., Principal Engineer, Staff Engineer).
