About the Role

Join FactSet's API Platform Engineering team to build and operate reliable, scalable APIs delivering high-quality, AI-ready financial data. You will ensure seamless access optimized for both human analysts and machine learning applications, empowering faster investment decisions.

Your Impact:

• Design and author Open API specifications adhering to industry best practices.
• Implement robust RESTful endpoints using Java/Spring Boot with a focus on scalability and performance.
• Apply Test-Driven Development (TDD) to ensure comprehensive automated testing coverage.
• Leverage CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployment in cloud-native environments like AWS or Kubernetes.

What We're Looking For:

We seek a Senior Engineer with 5+ years of experience building REST APIs using Java and Spring Boot. You should have strong expertise in relational databases (Postgres, MySQL), data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design. Familiarity with NoSQL, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud cost optimization is highly valued.
