Senior SOC Analyst - Cyber Defense

Juspay, a leader in multinational payments technology, is seeking a Senior SOC (Cyber Defense) Specialist to join our dynamic team in Bengaluru/Bangalore, India. Responsibilities:

• Monitor and analyze security events and incidents to identify threats and vulnerabilities.
• Conduct proactive threat hunting and security assessments to detect and mitigate potential risks.
• Implement and manage security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), endpoint protection, and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solutions.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive incident response plans and procedures for timely and effective resolution of security incidents.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to implement security controls and best practices across the organization.
• Stay updated on emerging cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies to continuously enhance our cyber defense capabilities.
• Conduct security awareness training and education programs to foster a strong culture of cybersecurity awareness among employees.
• Automate daily operational activities within the cyber defense domain.

Skills and Experience Requirements:

• 2-5 years of experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) environment, with AWS experience being a valuable overlap in Information Security.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Proven experience in cybersecurity operations, incident response, or similar roles.
• In-depth understanding of cybersecurity principles, practices, technologies, and standards.
• Hands-on experience with security tools and technologies such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex security incidents and propose effective solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are preferred.
• Experience in product-based startups is an added advantage.
• Ability to work independently, be self-motivated, and thrive in a fast-paced environment with diverse teams including product, administration, engineering, and infrastructure.
