Senior Site Reliability Engineer

About the Role

• 6+ years of hands-on experience managing enterprise storage platforms (Ceph, Longhorn) and Kubernetes on Linux.
• Proven expertise in Storage-Direct-Software (SDS) solutions and leading complex migrations from legacy infrastructure.
• Solid understanding of block, file, and object storage protocols, including Fibre Channel and IP-based networking.
• Demonstrated experience with NVMe-oF or iSCSI fabrics to optimize performance.
• Expert-level knowledge of Kubernetes orchestration and Linux system administration (Ubuntu, RHEL/CentOS).
• Mastery of Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Ansible and Terraform for automated provisioning.
• Advanced scripting skills in Python and Bash; proficiency with Golang is a significant plus.
• Strong working knowledge of Enterprise DNS management and integration patterns within Kubernetes clusters.
• Ability to operate 24x7 mission-critical production environments with high availability standards.
• Hands-on experience managing KVM hypervisors, specifically Suse Harvester and OpenStack.

• Advanced administration of multi-backend storage in OpenStack Cinder.
• Familiarity with enterprise backup platforms like Rubrik.
• In-depth understanding of CIS/NIST security frameworks and infrastructure lifecycle management (DevSecOps).
• Certifications in ITIL Foundation/ITSM, CNCF CKA/CKS, or Red Hat EX125 (Ceph Storage Administrator).
