Senior Site Reliability Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to build and operate reliable, scalable cloud-native platforms supporting Oracle Health's next-generation healthcare technology initiatives. This role bridges software engineering and operations on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Infrastructure & Platform Design: Build, test, and operate resilient services using Kubernetes (Helm/Kustomize), Terraform/IaC, and cloud networking principles across OCI or legacy environments.
• Observability & Reliability: Define SLIs/SLOs/SLAs, manage dashboards/alerting tools, conduct postmortems after incidents, and ensure system availability under high load.
• Automation Engineering: Develop Bash/Python scripts for provisioning, CI/CD pipelines (canary/blue-green deployments), secrets management, and automated remediation of recurring toil.
• Capacity Planning & Security: Analyze service trends to forecast capacity needs; implement least-privilege access patterns, patching strategies, disaster recovery plans, and vulnerability scans.

Required Skills

You must have strong Linux administration experience (systemd, networking, TCP/IP) and proficiency in Kubernetes operations. Knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards like FHIR/HL7 is highly preferred for this mission-critical role.
