Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Experian is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer in Hyderabad, Telangana, India to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in enhancing the reliability, performance, and standardization of our AWS services, including microservices and serverless architectures. You will proactively identify and remediate inefficient resource utilization to improve platform stability and cost-efficiency. Collaborating closely with product development teams, you will support their services and contribute to our SRE platform initiatives. Key responsibilities include troubleshooting production issues with thorough root cause analysis and designing preventative solutions, planning for capacity growth, and implementing intelligent monitoring and alarming for rapid incident detection and resolution. You will also build automations and internal tools to streamline processes. This position requires hands-on experience with Datadog and Splunk, as well as strong programming skills in Python, .NET, and Java.

Qualifications include a degree in computer science or a related field, 10 years of programming experience, and 3+ years of application development experience specifically within AWS. We are looking for individuals with extensive experience in cloud environments and technologies (AWS), expertise in writing and optimizing multi-threaded applications, and proficiency in developing service-oriented (SOA) and REST architectures. A solid understanding of microservices architecture and Domain Driven Design is essential. Experience with web application security, creating Docker containers, and working knowledge of NoSQL and relational databases are also required. The ideal candidate will possess a strong attention to quality and detail, experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies, and a proven track record in AWS optimization techniques, deployment, and integration. Familiarity with client integration security and vulnerabilities, along with the ability to seamlessly integrate with and collaborate effectively within new teams, is crucial.
