Senior Site Reliability Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to lead critical reliability engineering projects from conception through execution, ensuring seamless alignment with overarching business objectives. This role involves maintaining exceptional system stability, performance, and high availability through proactive monitoring and rapid troubleshooting of production issues. You will be instrumental in designing, building, and maintaining scalable, efficient, and reliable cloud-based infrastructure and services. A key focus will be automating manual processes to enhance platform observability, minimize operational toil, and drive reliability improvements. Proficiency in implementing and managing observability solutions using tools like Grafana, Splunk, and Dynatrace for comprehensive monitoring, alerting, and logging is essential. You will own the end-to-end availability, performance, and scalability of our vital services and internal tools. A strong understanding and application of SLI, SLO, SLA, and Error Budget frameworks are required to uphold service reliability. This position includes on-call support responsibilities and leading incident management and response efforts. Conducting thorough blameless postmortems to identify root causes and implement preventive measures is also a core duty. Collaboration with development and infrastructure teams to embed reliability best practices into design and deployment workflows is paramount. You will also manage and maintain the internal tools and infrastructure supporting other development teams.
