Role Overview

All European Careers is urgently seeking a Full Remote Senior ServiceNow Developer – SecOps & GRC. This role requires full-time availability during CET working hours (Central European Time) for an international organization. The successful candidate must be fluent in English.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• SecOps Leadership: Lead the design, configuration, and enhancement of ServiceNow SecOps, with a primary focus on Vulnerability Response (VR) and Security Incident Response (SIR).
• Solution Delivery: Own end-to-end solution delivery for SecOps workflows, covering intake, correlation, prioritization, remediation, and reporting.
• GRC Capabilities: Design and support GRC features including Policy & Compliance, Risk Assessment, TPRM (Third-Party Risk Management), BIA (Business Impact Analysis), and BCM (Business Continuity Management). Ensure traceability across risks, controls, and issues.
• Architecture Ownership: Act as an independent solution designer driving architecture decisions aligned with ServiceNow best practices for scalability.
• Configuration First Approach: Review requirements to ensure a configuration-first strategy. Challenge unnecessary customization to minimize technical debt.
• Automation & Integration: Implement integrations with security tools (e.g., Tenable, etc.) and leverage Flow Designer, Playbooks, and the Integration Hub for automation.
• Coding Standards: Develop high-quality, upgrade-safe solutions using scripting only where strictly necessary, adhering to ServiceNow development standards.
• Data Alignment: Ensure effective use of CMDB and CSDM alignment to enable accurate risk and vulnerability prioritization.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with Security, Risk, Compliance, and Audit stakeholders to translate domain requirements into platform solutions.
• Governance & Testing: Provide technical leadership, support platform governance, and ensure audit-ready, compliant, performant, and secure solutions. Support UAT and defect resolution.

Requirements (Profile)

• Education: Bachelor or Master degree.
• Experience:+5 years of experience working with the ServiceNow platform.
• Skill Set: Proven solution architecture ownership for ServiceNow SecOps & GRC. Deep expertise in integration and automation (vulnerability scanners, SIEM tools). Basic understanding of ITIL concepts and practices.
