About the Role
All European Careers is urgently seeking an experienced Senior ServiceNow Developer specializing in ITSM, Now Assist, AI, and automation for a major international organization. This is a fully remote contractor role offering competitive USD compensation.
Mission
You will serve as the technical lead responsible for the end-to-end delivery of enterprise-scale ServiceNow ITSM initiatives. Your focus includes designing solutions, implementing Now Assist/GenAI capabilities, managing integrations, and ensuring operational excellence during CET working hours.
- Design, develop, configure, and enhance ServiceNow ITSM modules (Incident, Change, Request, Problem, Knowledge, Catalog, Analytics).
- Leverage Flow Designer for advanced automations, SLA management, notifications, approvals, and reusable components aligned with best practices.
- Pioneer AI-driven transformation by implementing Now Assist skills, prompt design governance, and optimizing GenAI use cases to improve user experience and service quality.
- Develop robust Script Includes, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, and REST APIs (Integration Hub).
- Architect scalable integrations with enterprise applications using modern patterns that ensure security and compliance.
Your Impact
You will lead automation initiatives to boost efficiency while participating in the full SDLC—from requirements workshops and technical design through SIT/UAT, deployment, hypercare, and production support. Your role also involves mentoring junior developers and providing technical leadership via peer reviews and solution estimation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 8+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience with proven track record on enterprise-scale ITSM implementations.
- Demonstrated production expertise implementing multiple ServiceNow Now Assist capabilities and skills.
- Experience defining governance for AI-enabled ITSM solutions (Agentic AI, Autonomous Workforce).
- Mastery of Flow Designer, Integration Hub, intelligent routing, and workflow automation.
- Fluent English communication skills (written/spoken) required.
Certifications
Mandatory: CSA, CAD, CIS-ITSM.
Preferred: Implementer – Now Assist for ITSM; ServiceNow GenAI/AI certifications; Agentic AI credentials where available.
