Senior Security Operations Analyst

As a Senior Security Operations Analyst (L2) at Entain India in Hyderabad, you will be integral to identifying and managing security incidents across the group. Your responsibilities will include timely detection, investigation, and mitigation of security attacks, alongside reviewing organizational security risks and implementing appropriate responses to maintain a robust security posture aligned with our dynamic business needs.

What You Will Do

• Execute incident response, security monitoring, threat hunting, security analytics, and reporting activities.
• Collaborate with vendors, consultants, and third-party providers to define and implement baseline security configurations for all technology platforms.
• Champion, develop, and share knowledge on emerging security operations trends and changes with the team.
• Foster cross-Entain Group relationships to deliver efficient and consistent security operations services through continuous improvement, building defenses against evolving business needs and the threat landscape.
• Ensure visibility into issues and gaps identified through security monitoring and wider capabilities, proposing innovative and efficient incident response solutions.
• Apply analytics to provide insights to the security operations team, enhancing policies and processes for risk management, security program management, and security governance.
• Conduct continuous and rigorous assessments of current security operations processes and technology to recommend enhanced strategies, processes, and technologies.
• Facilitate collaboration with security engineering and vulnerability teams to ensure security tooling provides adequate visibility for detecting and responding to security events, and to build processes that improve indicators of compromise detection.
• Develop baseline reporting metrics to effectively measure the health of security operations and provide executive-level reporting on events, incidents, and trends.
• Maintain security procedures for products, applications, and platforms, serving as a key technical resource for complex or unusual security and compliance matters.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience in a similar Information Security role.
• Proven experience in developing security tools and contributing to open-source projects.
• Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Deep understanding of the technical foundations of networking, operating systems, and applications.
• Proficiency in TCP/IP, Linux, Windows, Web technologies, and other networking protocols.
• Solid understanding of on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Good grasp of Information Security processes and theory.
• Skills in vulnerability research and exploitation.
• Ability to work autonomously and maintain self-organization.
• Strong communication and customer-facing experience.
• Experience in the following areas: Vulnerability management, Risk management, Traffic and packet analysis.
