Senior Security Engineer

About the Opportunity: The Senior Security Engineer, Platform Security is responsible for securing our organization's cloud, compute, and network infrastructure across various business units. This role involves developing and evolving cloud security policies and guardrails, automating detection and remediation of security risks, and driving cloud security strategy. Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and evolve cloud security guardrails including SCPs, organization policies, and IAM controls.
• Develop automation tools to discover, measure, and contextualize security issues.
• Manage the cloud security exception lifecycle with tooling and processes.
• Collaborate with platform teams to eliminate cloud security risks.
• Deliver cloud security assurance functions balancing remediation and developer efficiency.
• Build data pipelines and dashboards for risk-based prioritization and posture tracking.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years experience as a software or security engineer.
• At least 4 years securing AWS and/or GCP infrastructure at scale.
• Expertise with Infrastructure-as-Code, especially Terraform and cloud guardrails.
• Experience with cloud security posture management tools and sensitive data management.
• Strong understanding of AWS and GCP IAM policies and organizational security controls.
