Full Job Description
The Senior Security & Compliance Analyst role at Energy Exemplar, based in Pune Division, Maharashtra, India, supports the execution and continuous improvement of security, risk, compliance, vulnerability management, and AI governance programs across cloud and enterprise operations. Reporting to the VP, Cloud Operations & GRC, you will align with ISO 27001, SOC 1/2, privacy frameworks, and emerging AI governance standards (e.g., ISO 42001, EU AI Act). Key responsibilities include:
- Driving vulnerability remediation across Engineering, Cloud Operations, IT, and Product teams, ensuring compliance with EE SLAs and MTTR metrics.
- Tracking and reporting security metrics, audit findings, and compliance dashboards proactively.
- Assisting in AI governance initiatives, including risk assessments, emerging regulations, and responsible AI evaluations.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to remediate gaps and drive continuous improvement.
- Supporting audits, customer security reviews, and compliance programs in the energy/utility sector.
Qualifications:
- 6–8 years in GRC, cybersecurity, or risk management, with expertise in ISO 27001, SOC 1/2, GDPR, and energy sector compliance.
- Experience in vulnerability management, SLA compliance, and executive reporting.
- Preferred certifications: CISSP, CISA, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor, or AI governance certifications.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
