Full Job Description
Eventus Security is seeking an experienced Level 2 Cyber Security Analyst for its SOC department. This role is based in Ahmedabad and Navi Mumbai. The primary responsibility is to monitor and analyze security threats, respond to security incidents, and implement protective measures for organizational assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts and incidents to identify root causes and impact.
- Respond to security incidents, encompassing containment, eradication, and recovery phases.
- Conduct thorough threat analysis to identify potential security threats, including malware, phishing, and other cyber-attacks.
- Implement robust security measures such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and vulnerability management to safeguard organizational assets.
- Collaborate effectively with other teams, including incident response, threat intelligence, and security engineering.
- Stay current with the latest security trends, emerging threats, and evolving technologies.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of professional experience in cybersecurity or a related field.
- Strong technical proficiency in security fundamentals, including network security, operating system security, and cloud security.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to dissect complex security issues and devise innovative solutions.
- Superb communication skills, enabling effective articulation of technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+ or CISSP are desirable.
