Cyber Security Analyst (L2) - SOC

Join Eventus Security as a Level 2 Cyber Security Analyst in our Security Operations Center (SOC) team. This role is based in Ahmedabad or Navi Mumbai. You will be instrumental in safeguarding our organization's digital assets by monitoring and analyzing security threats, responding effectively to incidents, and implementing robust protective measures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and analyze security alerts and incidents to identify root causes and assess impact.
• Execute timely and effective responses to security incidents, including containment, eradication, and recovery phases.
• Conduct comprehensive threat analysis to identify and understand potential cyber-attacks such as malware, phishing, and other advanced threats.
• Implement and manage critical security measures including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and vulnerability management tools to protect organizational assets.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including incident response, threat intelligence, and security engineering.
• Continuously stay updated with the latest security trends, emerging threats, and evolving technologies in cybersecurity.

Requirements:

• 2-4 years of experience in cybersecurity or a related technical field.
• Strong technical proficiency in security fundamentals, encompassing network security, operating system security, and cloud security principles.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to dissect complex security issues and devise innovative solutions.
• Superior communication skills, capable of conveying technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+ or CISSP are highly desirable.
