Senior Security Analyst (L2) - Eventus Security - Ahmedabad/Navi Mumbai

Eventus Security is seeking an experienced Level 2 Cyber Security Analyst to join our Security Operations Center (SOC) team. This role is critical in safeguarding our organization's digital assets by monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security threats and incidents. Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and analyze security alerts and incidents to identify root causes and assess their impact.
• Respond effectively to security incidents, implementing containment, eradication, and recovery strategies.
• Conduct thorough threat analysis to identify and understand potential security threats, including malware, phishing, and various cyber-attacks.
• Implement and manage crucial security measures such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and vulnerability management tools to protect organizational assets.
• Collaborate closely with other internal teams, including incident response, threat intelligence, and security engineering.
• Continuously stay updated with the latest security trends, emerging threats, and relevant technologies to maintain a robust security posture.

Requirements:

• 2-4 years of experience in cyber security or a related field.
• Strong technical proficiency in security fundamentals, including network security, operating system security, and cloud security principles.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to dissect complex security issues and devise innovative solutions.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the capacity to convey technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+ or CISSP are considered desirable.
