Senior SDET Engineer - Automation Testing in Chennai

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SDET Engineer with 4–7 years of experience to join our engineering team in Chennai. This role focuses on building scalable, reliable, and maintainable quality engineering solutions using Java and Selenium. You will be responsible for designing automation strategies, developing reusable frameworks, and integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to ensure software excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Java and Selenium WebDriver.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automated test suites into CI/CD workflows for rapid release cycles.
• Design, execute, and maintain automated scripts for complex web applications and API services.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and advocate for quality-first engineering practices.
• Analyze test results, perform regression, smoke, and functional testing, and drive continuous improvement in test coverage.

Requirements

• 4–7 years of professional experience in software testing and automation.
• Proficiency in Java and strong expertise in Selenium WebDriver.
• Experience with testing frameworks such as TestNG or JUnit.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies, Git, and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps).
• Analytical mindset with experience in SQL database queries and API testing.
