Senior React Developer - Unified Infotech, Kolkata

Unified Infotech is seeking an experienced Senior React Developer with strong expertise in React and modern frontend technologies to join our engineering team in Kolkata, West Bengal. This is a full-time, permanent position requiring 4+ years of experience. We are looking for a candidate with a BCA, MCA, B.Tech, or B.E. in any specialization.

Role Overview: In this role, you will lead the development of scalable, high-performance user interfaces. You will take ownership of frontend architecture, collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor developers, and ensure our products deliver seamless, intuitive user experiences across platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead frontend development using React and modern JavaScript frameworks.
  • Architect scalable and maintainable frontend solutions for complex applications.
  • Build responsive, high-performance user interfaces with a strong focus on usability and accessibility.
  • Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, backend engineers, and product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Optimize application performance, rendering, and data handling for large-scale applications.
  • Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs (REST or other services).
  • Ensure code quality through code reviews, testing, and adherence to best practices.
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to improving the frontend development process.
  • Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to technology decisions.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in frontend development.
  • Strong expertise in React.js and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
  • Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
  • Experience with TypeScript in production applications.
  • Hands-on experience with state management libraries such as Redux, Zustand, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of component-based architecture and reusable UI systems.
  • Familiarity with frontend performance optimization techniques.
  • Experience integrating with REST APIs and handling asynchronous data flows.
  • Knowledge of testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress.
  • Experience with Material UI or other component libraries.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.

Good to Have:

  • Experience with Next.js (SSR, ISR, routing).
  • Familiarity with GraphQL or gRPC integrations.
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and modern deployment workflows.
  • Experience working in agile development environments.
