You will be instrumental in developing and enhancing a next-generation digital engagement platform for a global leader in cloud contact center software. This platform empowers businesses to deliver seamless, personalized, and delightful customer interactions across multiple channels.

About the Project:

This initiative focuses on integrating Aqua, an advanced outbound communication solution, into our digital ecosystem. Aqua is a widely adopted solution used by healthcare providers, enterprises, and customer-centric organizations for sending appointment reminders, test results, marketing notifications, and more, with real-time engagement tracking. The project is structured into three phases: SMS, Email, and WhatsApp channel integration.

The solution is built on modern, cloud-native technologies within the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) stack. The backend is powered by Java Spring Boot, and the frontend utilizes React, jQuery, and JavaScript, integrated with our in-house design system. Key GCP services like Datastore, BigQuery, GCS Buckets, and Pub/Sub are employed, following an asynchronous REST-based design for high scalability and performance.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain robust front-end components using React, JavaScript, jQuery, and our custom design system.
• Collaborate closely with back-end and full-stack developers within a small Scrum team to integrate multiple communication channels (SMS, email, WhatsApp).
• Implement user-facing features for outbound communication solutions, including appointment reminders, test result sharing, marketing campaigns, and engagement tracking.
• Work within the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environment, leveraging services such as Datastore, BigQuery, GCS Buckets, and Pub/Sub.
• Contribute to API-level and agent-level enhancements, including compliance checks and message sending logic.
• Coordinate effectively with the digital team in Australia, ensuring adequate overlap in working hours for seamless communication.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience with React, JavaScript, jQuery, and building UIs with custom design systems.
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services like Datastore, BigQuery, GCS Buckets, and Pub/Sub is highly preferred.
• Proven experience working with RESTful APIs and asynchronous architecture.
• Comfortable collaborating within a small Scrum team alongside back-end, front-end, and automation engineers.
• Experience with or a strong willingness to learn integrations for SMS, email, and WhatsApp channels.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum team environment and collaborating across time zones with international teams.
• Flexibility in working hours to ensure overlap with teams in different time zones (e.g., Australia).
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to overcoming technical challenges.
