Senior QA Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Engineer to join a dynamic, product-focused engineering team in India. This role is pivotal in driving product quality through advanced automation and intelligent testing strategies. You will be instrumental in building and scaling robust QA automation frameworks, incorporating AI-driven approaches to enhance testing efficiency and coverage. Collaborating closely with engineering and product teams in a fast-paced environment, you'll ensure the highest standards of product quality. The ideal candidate possesses extensive automation experience, a proactive attitude, and a keen interest in leveraging AI to optimize testing processes.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable QA automation frameworks for product applications.
• Develop and execute automated test suites to ensure product quality and reliability.
• Collaborate closely with developers and product teams to define testing strategies.
• Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery.
• Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution.
• Leverage AI tools and techniques to improve test coverage, efficiency, and defect detection.
• Continuously improve QA processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Ensure high standards of quality across releases in a product-focused environment.
• Contribute to defining best practices for automation and quality assurance.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in QA engineering with a strong focus on automation in product-based environments.
• Proven experience building and maintaining automated testing frameworks.
• 1.5+ years of experience using or integrating AI within QA processes.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
• Experience working closely with engineering teams in agile environments.
• Experience testing modern web or platform-based applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to take ownership of quality and drive improvements proactively.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with modern test automation tools and frameworks (e.g. Cypress, Playwright, Selenium or similar).
• Experience integrating QA processes into CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with performance or API testing.
• Exposure to AI-driven testing tools or test generation frameworks.
• Experience working in fast-paced, product-driven environments.
