Senior QA Engineer

About the Role

Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. presents a unique opportunity for a highly skilled professional to work with cutting-edge technology addressing complex business challenges in the financial sector. This position is responsible for testing and delivering high-quality applications across trading, market data, clearing, settlement, compliance, and post-trade processes throughout the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Key Responsibilities

• Trading Systems QA: Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans for Equities, Options, Market Data, Clearing, Settlement, and Trading applications. Validate workflows from order entry to downstream reporting.
• Trade Lifecycle Testing: Ensure complete accuracy of trade lifecycle flows, including execution, clearing, settlement, and reconciliation across various session behaviors.
• FIX Protocol & Connectivity: Master validation of FIX message flows, troubleshooting logs for sequencing errors, connectivity issues, and accurate data dissemination.
• Market Data Validation: Test feed ingestion, transformation, real-time replay, recovery mechanisms, and the accuracy/order book consistency of market status messages.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work within a dynamic, globally distributed team alongside Development, Product Management, Operations, Support, and Business units to deliver mission-critical releases with minimal supervision.

Tech Stack & Domain Expertise

The ideal candidate must possess deep domain knowledge of Capital Markets (Equities/Options), proficiency in Linux for log analysis/grep usage, SQL for backend validation/reconciliation, and strong experience with UAT, regression testing, and production sign-offs.
