Senior Quality Assurance Engineer - Gurgaon/Gurugram

Konrad is seeking full-time Senior Quality Assurance Engineers to join our team in Gurgaon/Gurugram, India. The ideal candidate will lead testing deliverables using a combination of manual and automated strategies. This role involves close collaboration with client teams, software developers, and project managers to understand project requirements, create comprehensive test strategies with test case scenarios, develop and maintain automated scripts, and conduct rigorous testing to ensure project success. Responsibilities

• Lead the creation and execution of test strategies for complex programs, emphasizing automation to enhance testing coverage and efficiency across web and mobile platforms.
• Drive the design and implementation of scalable test automation frameworks aligned with project objectives.
• Utilize API testing tools such as Postman or REST Assured for thorough backend services testing and data integrity verification via API endpoints.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members and the broader QA team, facilitating the achievement of automation goals and fostering professional growth.
• Conduct regular quality checks and user acceptance tests for multiple projects on various supported devices, operating systems, and browsers.
• Foster strong collaboration with software developers, project managers, and client teams to ensure clear communication, understanding of project needs, and advancement of QA initiatives.
• Document defects with detailed technical information to aid the development team in debugging.
• Support the development team and management with other project-related tasks.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree such as B.Tech Computer Application, B.Tech Computer Science, BE, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Bachelor's of Technology, or Computer Science and Engineering.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an automation QA role within an agile environment, with a total of 3+ years of software testing experience.
• A passion for QA processes, engineering, and tooling, with a proactive approach to suggesting improvements and staying current with industry trends.
• Proficiency in Git for effective management of automation scripts, test data, and configurations.
• Familiarity with programming languages like Java, JavaScript, or Python for developing advanced automation scripts and frameworks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for clear interaction with teams and stakeholders.
• Exceptional organizational skills and keen attention to detail to ensure high-quality outcomes and systematic project tracking.
• Expertise with project management and documentation tools such as Jira, Confluence, or TestRail.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD to automate testing and deployment processes.
