Senior QA Engineer

Kickdrum is actively seeking a Senior QA Engineer in Bangalore to play a pivotal role in upholding the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products. This role involves leading by example, mentoring junior team members, and advancing our quality assurance strategies through robust testing methodologies. Key responsibilities include collaborating with development and product teams to define acceptance criteria and validate features, conducting comprehensive functional, regression, integration, and performance testing, and meticulously documenting and tracking defects. The Senior QA Engineer will lead automation initiatives for web and API testing, integrating them into CI/CD pipelines, and implementing cutting-edge testing techniques. Mentorship and technical guidance for junior QA engineers are paramount, fostering their growth in both manual and automated testing. Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript are essential for contributing to automation frameworks and tools. This role requires a proactive approach to risk assessment, testing prioritization, and communicating quality insights to stakeholders. Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure and a strong understanding of AI skills for script generation and enhancement are also required.
