Senior AI Security Python Developer Role

Vivid Computing is seeking a Senior AI Security Python Developer to lead the design and implementation of cutting-edge authentication and authorization layers for AI systems. This is a pure developer role focused on building secure, scalable, and cloud-native security infrastructure.

You will architect and implement OAuth 2.0/OIDC flows, develop SDKs, and integrate security tooling into AI agent applications. Your responsibilities include:

• Designing and building the authentication and authorization layer for AI systems, including OAuth 2.1, SPIFFE/SPIRE, and MCP protocols.
• Developing AWS-native security infrastructure, including IAM roles, STS flows, Cognito, Secrets Manager, and KMS policies.
• Ensuring zero-trust principles are embedded in the codebase, with identity validation at every call and least-privilege access controls.
• Leading technical customer engagements to integrate the solution into enterprise AI agent applications.
• Conducting threat modeling for AI-specific attack surfaces, such as prompt injection and credential theft.
• Collaborating on Vivid’s internal security guidelines and developer documentation.

Ideal candidates have:

• Deep expertise in OAuth 2.1/OIDC, SPIFFE/SPIRE, and A2A/MCP protocols implemented in Python.
• Production experience with AWS security services (IAM, STS, Cognito, Secrets Manager, KMS).
• Background in workload identity, mTLS, and machine identity management for AI workloads.
• Strong Python skills for building security services, SDKs, and REST APIs with rigorous testing.

This role is for developers who have built security infrastructure from scratch and have hands-on experience with authentication protocols in code, not just through admin UIs.
