Senior Project Manager

AECOM, a global infrastructure consulting firm committed to building a better world, is seeking a talented Senior Project Manager to join our dynamic multi-disciplinary design team in Denver, Colorado. This pivotal role involves overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from initial design through successful delivery. You will be instrumental in ensuring seamless coordination among all project stakeholders, particularly within the power generation sector. Your responsibilities will include managing internal project financials, staffing, legal coordination, and risk mitigation. You will lead planning and kickoff meetings, guide projects through feasibility, preliminary and detailed design, issue-for-bid, construction, start-up, and commissioning phases. Facilitating critical design reviews (30%, 60%, 100%) and equipment fabrication reviews will be key. You will collaborate closely with the technical delivery team and subcontractors, including those located internationally, to ensure exceptional client satisfaction and adherence to AECOM's Quality Management System. This position also involves significant business development, including proposal support, capture leadership, identifying project opportunities, go/no-go decisions, fee determination, proposal writing, client presentations, and contract negotiation. Building and maintaining client relationships, managing key accounts, and developing new ones are also core functions. Occasional travel to client or project sites will be required. You will provide management and guidance to subordinate managers, enforce company and project policies, and serve as the primary liaison between AECOM and clients, with significant profit and loss responsibility for assigned projects.
