Senior Project Engineer

This role is pivotal in implementing advanced solutions across diverse applications within the Semiconductor, Medical, Automotive, High-Tech Capital Equipment, and Manufacturing sectors. We are recruiting a Senior Developer to design and implement software for platforms including Measurement & Automation and Semiconductor Post-Silicon Validation. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, customer-centric outcomes. Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate within Agile teams to achieve shared objectives.
• Maintain high standards of quality and meticulous attention to detail.
• Understand and prioritize customer requirements.
• Deconstruct requirements, provide detailed estimations, and develop project plans.
• Proactively identify and manage technical risks and issues.
• Develop detailed designs and prototypes, exploring novel concepts.
• Write clean, standardized code, develop, debug, and design user interfaces.
• Participate in design, code, and usability reviews with team members.
• Present solutions to clients and deliver high-quality, documented deliverables.
• Report project status and developments to senior management.
• Engage in project meetings with management and team members.
• Generate innovative ideas, analyze their impact, and propose them to clients.

Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of proven Python programming experience, with an Engineering Graduation.
• Experience in developing web applications using Python.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Solid understanding of Python Design Patterns.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and testing frameworks, particularly pytest.
• Good grasp of test and measurement fundamentals.
• Demonstrated eagerness to stay current with Python trends and emerging technologies through active engagement in online communities, forums, and courses.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices.

Desirable Skills:

• Ability to debug electronic hardware and/or interpret electrical schematics.
• Experience in characterizing and testing semiconductor devices.
• Proficiency in C programming.
• Experience with configuration management tools like Git, SVN, and Perforce.
• Experience working with remote development teams.
• LabVIEW and TestStand development experience.
• CLD or CLA certification.

Work Location:

This role is initially Work From Office (WFO) in Chennai for the first 12 months. Remote or hybrid work options may be considered thereafter, based on individual performance and business needs.
