Senior Product Designer

At Vanta, our mission is to help businesses earn and prove trust. We believe that security should be monitored and verified continuously. As a Senior Product Designer, Risk Modeling, you will define how organizations identify, assess, prioritize, treat, and communicate risk with clarity.

Your Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end design for Risk Modeling projects from discovery through launch and iteration.
• Make complex risk concepts (registers, scenarios, scoring models) understandable to security leaders and business stakeholders.
• Create patterns for reviewing, approving, updating, and auditing risk decisions with full context preservation.
• Design information architecture for configurable, data-dense workflows including dashboards and reports.
• Establish product principles for trustworthy risk management: transparency, auditability, explainability, and handling uncertainty.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Research, Data, Customer Success, and domain experts to frame ambiguous problems into scalable solutions.

How to Be Successful:

• Experience: 7+ years in B2B SaaS product design with depth in complex workflows or enterprise software.
• Systems Thinking: Strong ability to model interconnected objects (risks, controls, assets) and configurable systems.
• Data Visualization: Experience designing data-dense interfaces that help users understand complex information.
• Discovery Skills: Ability to frame ambiguous problems and learn complex domains quickly.
