QAD is seeking a visionary Senior Principal Software Engineer – Full Stack Engineer (P5) to join our team in Pune, Maharashtra, India. In this pivotal role, you will define and drive the technical strategy for an entire function, take ownership of complex, high-impact systems, and significantly contribute to the future of intelligent manufacturing. You will be instrumental in building our next-generation platform, a single 'System of Action' that connects people, processes, and data, powering Adaptive Applications and Champion AI for manufacturing. Your responsibilities include architectural ownership, technical direction, functional problem resolution, technical leadership, mentorship, optimizing code for scale and efficiency, strategic collaboration with Product, QA, and DevOps teams, and driving cross-organizational alignment. We are looking for candidates with mastery in Data Structures & Algorithms, strong OOP fundamentals, foundational knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and backend programming (Java, JavaScript/Node.js, or Python), deep understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and Git proficiency. The ideal candidate will be a strategic problem solver, adaptable, possess a strong sense of ownership and quality, be a proactive leader, and a quick learner. This is an on-site position in Pune, requiring 3-4 days of work from the office.
