Role Overview
This Senior Principal Software Engineer role blends hands-on development with technical leadership for our LoadMaster platform. You will own critical functional areas, act as a technical authority across complex subsystems, and drive performance, scalability, security, and maintainability improvements.
Your Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and deliver core features of the LoadMaster platform.
- Serve as technical authority for complex subsystems and problem areas.
- Lead deep problem analysis and resolution across the full stack.
- Guide engineering requirements and architectural impact assessments.
- Mentor senior engineers and elevate engineering practices globally.
- Champion high-quality code, reviews, and continuous improvement.
Your Background
We seek candidates with extensive experience in complex, high-performance Linux systems. You must have expert C programming skills focusing on low-latency TCP/IP networking, deep knowledge of Linux internals (networking stack, memory, kernel–userspace), and proven performance engineering abilities.
