About The Role
We are seeking a Senior Principal Software Engineer (12+ years) to join QAD in our Pune facility. You will be instrumental in building the world's first AI-native, agentic ERP—a 'System of Action' where humans and AI operate as a tag team.
Your Mission
You will independently design, implement, and lead development for scalable web application features with end-to-end ownership. You are expected to resolve complex technical challenges across our modern cloud-native stack (Microservices), mentor junior engineers, set quality standards, and optimize system architecture for performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Independent Design & Implementation: Lead the development of critical components using robust frontend frameworks and backend services.
- Complex Problem Resolution: Proactively debug issues across the full stack with limited guidance, applying deep knowledge to system design.
- Tech Leadership: Serve as a subject matter expert, leading code reviews and advising cross-functional teams (Product, QA, DevOps).
We Are Looking For
- Mastery of Fundamentals: Strong grasp of Data Structures & Algorithms (Time/Space complexity), OOP principles, and Web Basics (HTML/CSS/JS + Java/Node.js/Python).
- Arcitectural Awareness: Proficiency in RESTful APIs, Microservices, SQL/NoSQL databases, Git Version Control.
- Mindset: Strategic problem solver with adaptability to learn cutting-edge AI technologies quickly. Detail-oriented ownership and proactive leadership are essential.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's in Computer Science, IT, or Engineering (or related technical discipline).
- Experience: Minimum 12+ years of professional software development experience.
- Location: On-site opportunity based exclusively in Pune. Only candidates willing to be on-ground are eligible.
