About This Role
Join our team to own moderately complex components within platform services or SDKs while leading improvements to integration frameworks and developer tooling. You will perform deep debugging across distributed services, optimize resilience and capacity, and create adoption guidance for your peers.
- Platform Software Development: Own bounded platform components (service modules, SDK areas) evolving contracts for multi-tenant use. Perform deep debugging within limited-service graphs to drive compatibility-safe remediation plans. Implement resilience/capacity patterns and document adoption guidance.
Coding & Optimization
- Design software solutions independently while adhering to the full SDLC.
- Lead code reviews in designated areas to drive team improvements.
- Conduct debugging, troubleshooting, and performance profiling for moderately complex issues.
- Implement functional/non-functional testing, QA processes, error logging, monitoring, and observability ensuring manager review throughout.
- Troubleshoot API functionality and integration complexities; implement versioning strategies and interoperability plans.
Software Architecture
- Design software systems aligned to pre-defined architecture decisions and best practices.
- Collaborate with leads on work reviews ensuring architectural alignment.
- Implement performance optimization and scalability strategies in design phases.
Customer Support & Collaboration
- Collaborate across teams/organizations to understand customer issues and align solutions independently.
- Provide technical guidance for reported issues; coach others on advocacy.
- Influence team dynamics for high satisfaction via timely resolution and effective communication.
Coding Standards & Compliance
- Maintain code quality, adherence to broad acceptance criteria, and secure coding practices preventing vulnerabilities.
- Stay current with industry best practices applied to development processes.
Digital Operations (DevOps)
- Perform periodic maintenance/testing for systems requiring upgrading or patching (e.g., critical vulnerabilities).
- Drive automation improvements, testing, and debugging ensuring service availability, health, support, and reliability.
