Senior Platform Software Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Platform Software Engineer to own moderately complex components within platform services or SDKs. You will lead team-level improvements to integration frameworks and developer tooling, perform deep debugging across distributed services, and drive fixes that protect downstream consumers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Platform Development: Own bounded platform components (service modules, SDK areas) and evolve contracts for multi-tenant use. Implement resilience/capacity patterns and document adoption guidance.
• Coding & Optimization: Design software solutions independently, adhering to the full SDLC lifecycle. Lead code reviews in designated areas to drive improvements. Conduct performance profiling to optimize coding efficiency.
• API Management: Implement moderately complex API versioning, lifecycle management, and interoperability strategies while troubleshooting integration issues.
• Architecture & Design: Develop software systems aligned with pre-defined architecture decisions. Collaborate on best practices for scalability and performance optimization.
• Customer Support: Provide technical guidance to customers regarding reported issues. Coach others to advocate for customer interests and suggest product enhancements based on feedback.
