Senior Platform Software Engineer

Role Overview

A Senior Platform Software Engineer responsible for owning moderately complex components within platform services or SDKs, leading team-level improvements to integration frameworks, and performing deep debugging across distributed services. You will analyze usage metrics, implement resilience patterns, and author documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Platform Development: Own bounded platform components (service modules/SDK areas), evolve contracts for multi-tenant use, perform debugging within a limited-service graph, and drive compatibility-safe remediation plans. Implement resilience/capacity patterns and document adoption guidance.
• Software Design & Optimization: Design software solutions to achieve business goals independently. Adhere to the full SDLC lifecycle. Lead code reviews in designated areas. Conduct debugging for moderately complex issues. Develop fixes, implement functional/non-functional testing (QA), monitoring, observability, and performance profiling.
• Architecture & Scalability: Design systems aligned with pre-defined architecture. Collaborate on architectural decisions. Implement performance optimization and scalability strategies.
• Customer Support: Understand customer issues independently to align solutions. Provide technical guidance/coaching. Investigate complex product maintenance issues for short- and long-term resolutions (e.g., future enhancements).
• Security & Compliance: Establish development practices, ensure code quality against acceptance criteria, stay current with best practices, and implement secure coding.
• SysOps & Maintenance: Perform periodic maintenance/testing for upgrades/patching. Drive automation to ensure service availability and reliability.
