Senior Platform Engineer - Cloud-Native Infrastructure

Ltd. in Pune is seeking a highly experienced Senior Platform Engineer to spearhead the design, development, and ongoing management of our cutting-edge, cloud-native infrastructure. This pivotal role blends traditional DevOps methodologies with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles to guarantee our systems are not only highly available and scalable but also exceptionally observable and secure. Key Responsibilities:

• Design & Implementation: Architect and deploy scalable infrastructure solutions on leading cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, leveraging Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Pulumi.
• Kubernetes Mastery: Expertly manage, optimize, and secure large-scale Kubernetes clusters (including EKS, GKE, or AKS), implementing advanced practices like service mesh (Istio/Linkerd) and GitOps (ArgoCD/Flux).
• SRE Principles: Apply Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) best practices to establish and achieve Service Level Objectives (SLOs). Implement comprehensive monitoring, alerting (using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog), and robust logging solutions (ELK, Loki, or Splunk).
• Automation: Develop and maintain sophisticated automation scripts using languages such as Python, Go, or Bash to streamline deployment processes, enhance scalability, and optimize operational tasks.
• Security & Compliance: Integrate and enforce security best practices, including cluster hardening, secure secret management (e.g., Vault), and ensuring adherence to critical compliance standards.

Required Skills:

• Demonstrated expertise with at least one major cloud provider, with a preference for AWS.
• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration technologies.
• Proficiency in using Terraform for efficient infrastructure provisioning.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts, load balancing strategies, and microservices architecture.
• Proven experience in establishing and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLab CI, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
