Senior Platform Engineer - Cloud Native Infrastructure

Zorba Consulting India Pvt. Ltd. in New Delhi is seeking a highly experienced Senior Platform Engineer to lead the design, build, and maintenance of our next-generation, cloud-native infrastructure. This role blends traditional DevOps and SRE responsibilities, focusing on ensuring our systems are highly available, scalable, observable, and secure. The ideal candidate possesses deep expertise in Kubernetes, public cloud infrastructure, and a passion for automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design & Implementation: Architect and implement scalable infrastructure solutions on AWS, GCP, or Azure using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Pulumi.
• Kubernetes Mastery: Manage, optimize, and secure large-scale Kubernetes clusters (EKS, GKE, or AKS), including service mesh (Istio/Linkerd) and GitOps (ArgoCD/Flux) practices.
• SRE Principles: Apply Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles to define and meet Service Level Objectives (SLOs), implement robust monitoring, alerting (Prometheus/Grafana/Datadog), and logging (ELK/Loki/Splunk).
• Automation: Develop and maintain automation scripts (Python, Go, Bash) to streamline deployment, scaling, and operational tasks.
• Security & Compliance: Implement security best practices, including hardening clusters, managing secrets (Vault), and ensuring compliance standards are met.

Required Skills

• Expertise with one major cloud provider (AWS preferred).
• In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning.
• Strong understanding of networking, load balancing, and microservices architecture.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions).
