Full Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable PHP and Laravel code.
  • Develop and implement backend components, including APIs, web services, and database schemas.
  • Create and maintain frontend components using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks like Livewire, Vue.js or React.js.
  • Collaborate with designers and other developers to create user-friendly and responsive web applications.
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
  • Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues.
  • Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with team members.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation.
  • Mentor and guide junior developers to enhance their skills and productivity.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in PHP development with a strong focus on full stack technologies.
  • Extensive experience with the Laravel framework.
  • Proficient understanding of frontend technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX.
  • Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks like Livewire, Vue.js or React.js.
  • Strong knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and web services.
  • Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
  • Understanding of security best practices and data protection.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the fintech industry.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS).
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD).
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks.
