About the Role

We are seeking a Senior PACS and Imaging Systems Engineer to support daily teleradiology operations as a senior technical individual contributor reporting to our Head of IT. This is a hands-on role with mentoring responsibilities, not people management.

• Work alongside our PACS and IT team
• Lead client and vendor discussions
• Own support and onboarding work through verified resolution

Your Responsibilities

• Administer and troubleshoot RamSoft PowerReader and PowerServer (configurations, routing, DICOM scripts, worklists, study statuses, templates, report delivery).
• Diagnose missing, duplicate or misrouted studies using audit trails, DICOM headers, messages and logs.
• Build and support Mirth Connect/HL7 order and result interfaces (mapping, JavaScript transformations, acknowledgments).
• Lead technical client onboarding from requirements to operational handoff.
• Maintain automation runbooks, change controls, and mentor colleagues.

Qualifications

• Expert hands-on RamSoft PowerReader/PowerServer administration.
• Expert Mirth Connect and HL7 skills (channel development, JavaScript).
• Advanced PACS administration and strong DICOM knowledge.
• Automation skills using JavaScript, Python, PowerShell or comparable tools.
• TCP/IP, firewalls, DNS, TLS, SQL diagnostic skills.

Benefits & Salary

Annual base salary: USD 125,000 - $150,000, depending on experience. Full-time direct hire role based remotely within the United States or Puerto Rico with preferred hours of 8am-5pm Central.
