Senior Offensive Security Analyst

About the Role

Huntingcube Recruitment Solutions Private Limited is seeking a Senior Offensive Security Analyst to join their team in Hyderabad. This role is integral to the Technology Governance team, ensuring the Technology department's alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting security assessments, including penetration testing of web applications and infrastructure.
• Performing vulnerability research and management.
• Developing security tools and contributing to open-source projects.
• Managing risks effectively.
• Collaborating with team members and engaging with vendor third parties to maintain the highest data and confidentiality security standards.
• Suggesting process improvements and driving results.

Qualifications and Skills

Required

• A minimum of two years of experience in a similar Information Security position.
• Strong vulnerability research skills.
• Proficiency in security assessments and pentesting of web applications and infrastructure.
• Experience in developing security tools and open-source projects.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Solid technical understanding of networking (TCP/IP), operating systems (Linux, Windows), and web technologies.
• Good knowledge of Information Security processes and theory.
• Effective communication skills and customer-facing experience.
• Experience with vulnerability management and risk management.

Desired

• Security Certification such as GIAC, OSCP, or similar.
• Experience integrating systems and tools via APIs (programming, automation).
• Experience in online gaming security.
• Experience in Application Security.
• Familiarity with regulatory and industry standards like ISO27001 and PCI-DSS.
• Other relevant professional qualifications (e.g., CISA, CISM, CISSP) are a plus.
