Join EY as a Senior Oil and Gas Upstream Consultant in Kolkata, West Bengal. We are seeking an experienced professional with 2-8 years of experience in the Energy industry, bringing strong expertise in Upstream Data Management and/or ESG domains. You will play a key role in shaping our service offerings and client engagements.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with global Oil & Gas leaders and internal consulting teams.
• Track and develop deep knowledge of the Oil and Gas and Energy market and trends.
• Develop capabilities and offerings relevant to firm initiatives and client needs, driving campaigns to expand services.
• Author thought leadership on industry topics, showcasing our capabilities.
• Independently lead and deliver projects in collaboration with senior leadership, guiding junior team members on Energy, especially Upstream O&G related activities.
• Drive growth within individual Oil & Gas accounts and identify proactive opportunities.
• Work with leaders on strategic planning, periodic reviews, and roadmap execution.
• Maintain a sharp sector and account focus, closely monitoring sector engagements.
• Participate in and drive business development activities, including proposal development.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Deep domain expertise in Oil and Gas and Upstream, gained through industry or service company experience.
• Experience in data analysis and interpretation.
• Familiarity with subsurface, wells, and seismic data management solutions, practices, and software.
• Strong understanding of the business value chain, operations, and processes in the renewables sector.
• Knowledge of business challenges and trends in the energy sector, and the ability to translate them into consulting opportunities.
• Proven experience in client interaction and stakeholder/people management.
• Business/Technology consulting experience, preferably with a leading firm.
• Excellent business communication and presentation skills.
• An innovative mindset with the ability to conceptualize new solutions and engagement models.

Education:

• Graduate / BE - B. Tech (preferably in Energy/Petroleum related field).
• MBA or relevant Management Degree/Diploma is an added advantage.

Advantageous Experience:

• Experience with Upstream-specific tools such as Petrel, Landmark, OSDU, Erwin, etc.
