About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Node.js Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our P2P stack and expanding our ecosystem, which includes over 1500 public npm modules and a robust, modular codebase.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop production-scale applications using Node.js with strong competency in writing modular, maintainable code.
- Create and manage reusable npm packages to enhance the ecosystem.
- Apply solid skills in testing and debugging within a distributed environment.
- Leverage deep interest or experience with P2P technologies and distributed systems.
- Communicate effectively while working remotely within a globally diverse team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with native Node.js extensions (C/C++) or binding JavaScript to lower-level code.
- Demonstrated ability to optimize network protocols for latency and throughput.
- Understanding of advanced networking concepts.
- Past contributions to Open Source projects, particularly in P2P or decentralized technology.
