Senior Node.js Software Engineer

About This Role

We are seeking a talented Senior Node.js Software Engineer to join our dynamic global team working on Tether's P2P stack.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain production-scale applications using Node.js within an ecosystem of over 1500 public npm modules.
• Create, manage, and document reusable npm modules to ensure codebase modularity and maintenance efficiency.
• Leverage deep interest in P2P technologies or distributed systems architecture.

Required Skills:

• Proven experience with Node.js development for production-scale applications.
• Mastery of writing modular, maintainable code.
• Solid expertise in testing and debugging protocols.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a remote, globally distributed team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with native Node.js extensions (C/C++) or binding JS to lower-level code.
• Evidence of optimizing network protocols for improved latency and throughput.
• Solid understanding of advanced networking concepts.
• Past contributions to open-source projects, particularly in P2P or decentralized technology sectors.
