Senior Node.js Software Engineer

In this 100% remote role, you will be responsible for enhancing our P2P stack and expanding our extensive ecosystem, which includes over 1500 public npm modules and a robust, modular codebase. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain our P2P technology stack.
• Expand and manage our ecosystem of npm modules.
• Write modular, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Debug and troubleshoot complex distributed systems.
• Collaborate effectively within a globally distributed remote team.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience developing production-scale Node.js applications.
• Strong skills in writing modular and maintainable code.
• Experience creating and managing reusable npm modules.
• Proficiency in testing and debugging.
• A deep interest or experience in P2P technologies or distributed systems.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with native Node.js extensions (C/C++) or binding JavaScript to lower-level code.
• Ability to optimize network protocols and systems for latency and throughput.
